Prof. Dr. Adel Tanios is a chief Researcher of Microbiology, Animal Health Research institute, Egypt. Over 30 years of experience in Bacteriology especially infectious and zoonotic diseases, he shared and supervised over than 30 Master and Ph.D Thesis in Veterinary Medical sciences and more than 40 scientific publications in animal and public health. Dr. Adel Tanios has shared in national and international programs and projects. He joined many international workshop especially in Africa, in addition to scientific activities with USDA, ARS. In Africa and Egypt, he contributed in community services and cultural development. In the field of epizootic diseases and avian flu, he designed many scientific publications and International presentation. Dr. Adel Tanios acquired an international expertise in Knowledge Management as a Team Leader of Knowledge Management in African Union Interafrican Bureau for Animal Resources. He provided strategic management and leadership to ensure high-quality outputs, outcomes and impacts through effective management of diverse, inter-disciplinary teams and partnerships which may be geographically distributed and will invariably involve multiple partner organizations. As a senior member of IBAR, he contributed to the overall management and direction of IBAR operations including Pan African Animal Health. In addition to microbiology, he has a strong academic background in Information Technology including two Masters from Microsoft and official Microsoft Trainer since 2004. He created many centralized Data Base and information systems. He has obtained many scientific awards especially from Minister of Agriculture and African Union Interafrican Bureau for Animal Resources as a good scientist and promote Livestock development in the African Continent.

Dr. Abd El-Latif Hesham is Associate Professor of Microbial Genetics and Environmental Meta-Genome Biotechnology at Assiut University, Egypt. He graduated and got his M.Sc from Genetics department, Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University, Egypt and his PhD degree from Chinese academy of Sciences in Microbial Genetics and Environmental Meta-Genome Biotechnology. He awarded postdoctoral studies from CAS-TWAS. He expert in molecular biological techniques, including Clone library, RFLP and gene sequencing, phylogenetic analysis, florescent in situ hybridization (FISH), PCR-DGGE, MPN-PCR, reverse transcriptase PCR , and real time PCR (RT-PCR). He has published about 40 papers in reputed journals and serving as an editor in chief, editorial board member and reviewer of many international reputed journals.

Idress Hamad Attitalla is working as Visiting Scientist in Department of Biological Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Palau Pinang, Malaysia since 2010. In 1998, he was appointed as Lecturer Assistant at the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Omar Al-Mukhtar University, El-Beida, Libya. In 2004, he was appointed as Lecturer at the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Omar Al-Mukhtar University, El-Beida, Libya. In 2007, he was appointed as Assistant Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Omar Al-Mukhtar University, El-Beida, Libya. In 2009, he was appointed as Associate Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Omar Al-Mukhtar University, El-Beida, Libya. In 2010, he was appointed as Visiting Scientist at the Department of Biological Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Palau Pinang, Malaysia. Idress Hamad Attitalla received his B.Sc. in Biology in 1992 at Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Omar Al-Mukhtar University, El-Beida, Libya. He got M.Sc. in Biology in 1998 from Department of Plant Pathology and Bio-control Unit, Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. Cdr Dr Stef Stienstra is a Strategic and creative consultant in biomedical science, with a parallel career as a Commander of the reserve of the Royal Dutch Navy. For the Dutch Armed Forces he has responsibility for the counter measures in CBNRe threats and (medical) consequence management both in a military and a civilian (terrorism) setting. He is strategic functional specialist for “Health & Environment” of the 1-Civil-Military-Interaction Command (1-CMI) of the Dutch Armed Forces and for 2015 also in the NATO Response Force (NRF), which is in 2015 the responsibility of the 1-German-Netherlands-Corps (1-GNC). He was the director of the 2014 World Congress of CBRNe Science & Consequence Management in Tbilisi, Georgia. In his civil career he works internationally as consultant or as scientific supervisory board member for several medical and biotech companies, merely involved in biodefense. He is also visiting professor for Punjab University in Pakistan and Rhein-Waal University in Germany. He has finished his studies in Medicine and in Biochemistry at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands and has extensive practical experience in cell biology, immuno-haematology, biodefense and transfusion medicine. His natural business acumen and negotiation competence helps to initiate new successful businesses, often created out of unexpected combinations of technologies. His good understanding of abstract science combined with excellent skills in the communication of scientific matters to non-specialists, helps him with strategic consulting at top level management.

Rosanna Peeling is currently Professor and Chair of Diagnostics Research at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and Director of the International Diagnostics Centre (IDC). Trained as a medical microbiologist, Dr. Peeling had been Research Coordinator and Head of Diagnostics Research at the UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme on Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (WHO/TDR) in Geneva, Switzerland, and the Chief of the Canadian National Laboratory for Sexually Transmitted Diseases before assuming her current position. Her work in WHO/TDR focused on the evaluation of diagnostics appropriate for developing countries settings, to inform policy and procurement decisions. Dr Peeling’s work at LSHTM spans from facilitating test development and evaluation to translation of evidence to policy, appropriate placement of new diagnostic technologies into different health care settings to ensure maximum impact, and innovation in the uptake of testing by marginalised populations. She established the IDC to provide a global hub for advocating the value of diagnostics, fostering innovation, and accelerating regulatory approval and access to quality-assured diagnostics to improve global health. In 2014, she was awarded the George MacDonald Medal by the Royal Society of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine for contributions to tropical medicine, becoming the first woman to receive this honour.
